Onsides, Inc. (“Onsides,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Onsides mobile app, website, and related services (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

A. Information You Provide
• Account details (name, email address, profile photo, phone number).
• Information you enter into the app, such as team names, events, or rideshare requests.
• Communications with us (support requests, feedback forms, emails).

B. Information from Third-Party Integrations (User-Authorized Access)
• Data from connected services such as TeamSnap, SportsEngine, or similar platforms (for example, event schedules, roster details, and availability responses).
• Only the information necessary to provide the features you request is accessed.
• By connecting a third-party account, you expressly authorize Onsides to act as your technical agent to retrieve and organize information you are entitled to access from that platform.
• Onsides will not circumvent authentication, security, or technical restrictions of any third-party service.
• Onsides is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any third-party platform. All trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

C. Device & Usage Information
• Device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs.
• Activity in the app (for example, features used, buttons tapped).
• Calendar and reminders data from your device, if you grant permission.

D. Location Information
• General location (city, state) based on IP address.
• If you enable location-based features (for example, rideshare coordination), we may collect more precise location data.

We use your information to:
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Sync events and reminders to your device.
• Suggest rideshares and identify scheduling conflicts.
• Personalize your experience.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms & Conditions.
• Comply with legal obligations.
• Facilitate user-authorized access to third-party platforms in accordance with this Policy.

  1. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information with:
• Third-party services only when you initiate a connection (for example, to import your team schedule).
• Service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, crash reporting).
• Other users you interact with (for example, if you offer/request a ride, your name and relevant contact info may be shared with that participant).
• Law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law or to protect safety.
• In the event of a business transfer (for example, merger or acquisition).

Onsides does not sell, rent, or share imported third-party data with advertisers or data brokers.

  1. Your Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
• Right to Know – Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete – Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to Correct – Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing – We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Data Portability – Request that Onsides transmit your data to another service provider at your direction.
• Right to Non-Discrimination – We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@onsides.ai. We will verify your request by matching it to information we have on file and respond within 45 days.

  1. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
If you disconnect a third-party integration or close your account, Onsides will delete or anonymize imported data within 72 hours, except where retention is required by law.

  1. Security

Onsides uses encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256) and limits employee access to authorized personnel only.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Children’s Privacy

Onsides is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes—especially regarding third-party integrations—we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in-app or by email.
